NAMM 2016: Neunaber Immerse Reverberator

neubaber-immerse-this-oneNeunaber Audio Effects is a family-run company located in Santa Ana, California. The founder, Brian Neunaber has been designing audio products professionally since 1994. With a masters degree in Electrical Engineering, two patents and a line of 10 pedals the company clearly has touched upon some great circuits. Brian’s take on designing and offering effects is outlined on the Neunaber website where there is a clear ‘form follows function’ ideology at play. Simplicity and elegance lead the charge into the very well known science of electronics to produce pedals that provide a high level of function and boat-loads of tone – “We are not a mass-producer, nor do we see ourselves as boutique. We strive to practice the best from each approach”. With that philosophy in tow, Neunaber Audio Effects is ready to release it’s latest creation, the Immerse Reverberator.

The Reverberator is actually a collection of 8 stereo reverbs. Packed into this single-sized enclosure you’ll find wet, hall, plate and spring reverbs, two shimmers, wet+echo and Wet+detune. These effects were crafted using Neunaber’s own Pedal Customizer Software, although the pedal itself doesn’t interface with the software like the other stereo pedals they offer. The Immerse is it’s own contained unit. But, that doesn’t mean the Immerse is just a collection of old circuits compiled into a new case. Many of the algorithms inside are re-imaginations of  existing Neunaber circuits adding a fresh take on their already killer tones.

Here are some of the features:

  • Five controls: Effect Select, Effect Level, Reverb Depth, Tone (or Echo Time), Effect Adjust (depends on effect)
  • High-quality buffered bypass with external Trails switch
  • External Kill Dry switch
  • Inputs/outputs can be used mono or stereo
  • Analog dry signal for low noise and zero latency
  • Small footprint

The Immerse will be available on March 1st, but you can pre-order starting February 1. If you get this pedal on your board, make sure to let us know all about it. And don’t forget that we are currently giving away a Celestial Effects Aries Beast Distortion. Demo below:
